There is no greater gift in the world then friendship.My friends mean the world to me and as long as I have my friends I will have the greatest treasures of all.There is a saying I would like to share with the whole world."Make new friends keep the old one is Silver the other is Gold".

My world of friends began many years ago on August 5th 1946 thats 56 years ago. In Bay City,Michigan.the very first friend I can remember is Barb Thompson we were friends from about 3 years old. Barb and I started school together.Together Barb and I made more friends our group of neighbor hood friends were Cheryl Campbell,Donna Rickle, Sharon Smith and we must not forget Barb's first love Randy Harris. There was also Marilyn Robetoy with these friends I grew up loving them will never forget them.

My heart was broken in 1956 when Barb's family moved away.Barb came back for visits for a few years then they didn't come any more after 1959 but I never forgot my best friend Barb. i thought of her often and after 43 years Barb and I met at Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Plesant. It was wonderful to see her once again. Well needless to say we had changed we were no longer the young girls we were when we last seen one another. Barb was still the same good friend I remembered from years ago yes we both had changed but the same warm heart of friend ship I had treasured all these years was still there.I hope I never lose track of Barb ever again i hope we always keep in touch.

Cheryl Campbell and me have always been togehter. We both married and had families but we kept in touch at all times.Cheryl married Joseph Bogart they had 3 children Michael,Steven,Kathy.Cheryl's children are all married Cheryl has 6 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren. Cheryl is the proud grandmother of 2 sets of twin granddaughters her sons Mike & Steve each had a set of twin girls.

Donna Rickle and I did not keep in close touch but do talk every so often. Donna married Bill Lewandowski they had 2 girls Michelle,Amy.Donna and Bill were married for quite a few years but are now divorced. Donna lives in Saginaw,Michigan.I hope some day soon to be able to get together with her and talk about old times.

Sharon Smith I had lost track of but ran into her Mom and she gave me some pictures of Sharon she is married and doing very well.I hope some day to see her again and to be able to catch up on old times.
